Recognising that not all stakeholders will have the resources or desire to provide a written submission, we have used a multi-channel approach of online round-table discussions and small group and individual interviews.
We began with a small number of initial briefings by NIBA staff and Directors. Since then, we have conducted more than 40 conversations in individual or small group interviews, including with external stakeholders such as the Insurance Broker Code Compliance Committee, ASIC, AFCA, ASBFEO, Financial Rights Legal Centre and NSW Fair Trading. We have also held a number of Roundtables – with multiple representatives of a range of insurance brokers and insurance companies. We are pleased that over 40 NIBA members have directly participated in one or more of the available channels to express their views.
